More Information on Hollyhawk

Hollyhawk Treatment Foster Care currently operates approximately 25 Treatment Foster Homes. Geographically, homes are located in the Kawartha Lakes and surrounding areas, including the following areas: Whitby, Sutton, Pefferlaw, Cobourg, Lakefield, Peterborough, Lindsay, Woodville and Bobcaygeon.

The success of placements is largely attributed to our matching selection process, continuous and ongoing training of Foster Parents, available supports and resources for Foster Parents and the commitment from dedicated individuals who serve our children and youth.

We view every child as unique, and therefore we create individualized programming. Hollyhawk Treatment Foster Care prides itself on assessing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans that meet the child and youth’s holistic needs.

We advocate and secure wraparound services for each child placed within our services.

Aboriginal Ties

The cultural diversity within our staff team as well as Foster Parents offers direct affiliation with Native resources and nearby communities. A positive and active relationship exists with Curve Lake and Georgina Island.
