Hollyhawk Treatment Foster Care Services is dedicated to the encouragement and the provision of safe, stable, nurturing and healthy environments for foster children/youth placed within the agency where they are supported to reach their maximum potential.

Program Description

Hollyhawk Treatment Foster Care Services offers nurturing and caring treatment foster care. We are dedicated to the treatment and development of children and youth. Our staff and foster parents are committed professionals who work as a team helping children to grow, learn and develop to become strong and contributing members of our community.

Our consulting psychologist provides clinical consultation on a monthly basis with Foster Care Support Workers and Foster Parents for the purposes of clinical formulation, case consultation and treatment planning along with direct clinical training and support to foster parents and staff.

We offer emergency, short-term and long-term services. Hollyhawk Treatment Foster Care provides foster parents with comprehensive on-going training and support to ensure that the children and youth we serve are cared for at the highest level of standards.

In partnership with Country Counselling Services', Supported Independent Living program (SIL), Hollyhawk TFC offers a Transition to Independence program to support youth success from foster care to full independence.

Hollyhawk Treatment Foster Care’s program accepts referrals of children and youth with: FAS/FAE/ARND, ADHD, Conduct Disorder/ODD, PDD/Asperger’s Syndrome, attachment issues, developmental delays, learning disabilities, medical complexities, behavioural issues, mental health issues, experiences of sexual, physical or emotional abuse and compounded traumas or losses.
